I'm new to this forum and new to Mitsubishi. I have the P0487 code constantly. I have a 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander 2.0 DiD. The car runs fine but does splutter on low revs (say when in second gear moving slowly in traffic at about 1500 to 2000 revs), I read an article on here about checking the Throttle Control Valve. I have 4 pins, with ignition on, the plug to the TCV had a 12v, a 3.15v, another 12v and a ground. Does this sound right? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Don't have a schematic for the circuit so can't advise on voltage readings however has the EGR valve/openings been cleaned?
