NO START 1997 VW CABRIO P341 AND P0140

I HAVE A 1997 VW CABRIO WITH CODES P0341 AND P0140. CAMSHAFT SENSOR AND O2 SENSOR, WILL THIS NOT ALLOW ENGINE TO START? ENGINE CRANKS BUT NO START

the cam issue may cause a no start.
Auto basics 101
is there spark, fuel pressure (gauged), are injectors pulsing, compression etc.

P0341 isn't necessarily cam sensor itself, could be but many times is something else. Could be poor signal due to wiring issue or cam displaced.
Description is cam sensor range/performance.
As far as I know the VW should starts with cam sensor faulty P0340 as long other things are correct, would make slightly noticeable lack of power. Some other vehicles like Japanese would keeps fuel flooding during starting.
I believe in 1997 cam sensor would be in distributor and P0341 would caused non starts.
