The design is based on a contact housing with removable pins. These pins are tin plated, and can either be soldered or crimped. Two shell halves and a strain relief complete the design. Made of enforced nylon, these connectors are durable and offer a perfect fit. Applicable for all BMW car models from 1989 through 2000 (and some models upto 2002). Cars from 1996 through the later years do have a OBDII connector, but do not provide full diagnostic access - only the ECU is accessible via the OBDII port. Each connector Kit Includes: * Connector Housing (1) * Shells (2) * Contact Pins (4) * Strain Relief 8 mm (1) * Fasteners (4) RoHS Compliant.
