ok, I found all the info on the code and bought all I hoped would solve my dilemma. The Jeep was cutting out infrequently and on the way home from the parts store started backfiring when I accelerated. I had to limp home and hoped changing the coil and plugs would help but to no avale when I cranked it back up I get what sounds like a knock/ blow back??? Any thoughts on what it might be? Oil pressure is good as is temp and no water in the oil.

So you changed what? the plugs? The complete coil pack? Lots of possibilities for a misfire on those jeeps!
