2003 Dodge Neon P0456

I got a code P0456 and i replace the gas cap and disconnected the battery to reset the light, 2 days later the light came back on and i get the same code, p0456

Check your Evap canister and your fuel and evap emissions hoses and lines for cracks and breaks holes in them where did you purchase your gas cap it might need to be retightned

I purchased the gas cap at advance auto parts...... i checked to make sure it was tight and i disconnected the battery and 2 days later the light came back on

You might want to get a gas cap from chrysler dealership because the computer might not read an aftermarket gas cap

I have an update.... the light went out after i got it cleared at advance auto parts.... then 2 days later the light came back on with a code P0440
