I just switched the PCM and all my error codes vanished except the P1195. What is this and what do I need to check and replace in order to get rid of the code? I'm a mechanic's daughter, but not a mechanic myself, I know enough to get me trouble, but not enough to do anything without advice and my handy-dandy Haynes Mazda book. So please, talk down to me!

Thank you so much!

P1195 = EGR Boost Sensor Circuit

Check the sensor and the wiring/connections to it.

I'm not sure if it's in the Haynes manual or not.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Mazda's also had issues with the vaccum lines to the egr and the ports in the throttle body plugging up! I think some models even had a recall so it may be worth checking with your local Mazda dealer or have your father or you check online for tsbs and recalls for Mazda!
