Post subject: 1996 Chevy 1500 P1406, P0101, P0102 UPDATE

Thanks to all who replied to my previous post.
I have tried the following: -blew air into EGR ports in engine, seemed open. -put on new EGR valve and erased codes. still got p0101,p1406 and p0300 codes and truck bucks and heaves worse than ever. Checked MAF sensor with actron scanner and it meets requirements, and for fun I replaced fuel filter. I am new at most of this, so any help is appreciated.

Do you have access to an engine wiring diagram for your vehicle? Follow wiring for both the egr and maf, I think they might share common reference voltage and possible ground. It may be one common problem causing a voltage problem for both sensors.
