I have a 96 ranger with a 3.0 v6, 2wd 5 spd. manual trans.
The truck started generating p1151 & p1152 codes (engine lamp on) immediatly after I put a clutch in it. The engine lamp was off and every thing was fine before I put the clutch in. I checked the wires and pins in the connector going to the 02 sensor on the passenger side upstream of the cat. Everything ok. So I replaced the 02 sensor on bank 2 sensor 1. The code came back instantly. Since I had the exhaust removed I checked for exhaust leaks. Everything ok. The truck has the original cat with 250,000 miles on it. I am thinking now maybe the cat is bad. The truck is now generating p1151, p1152, & p0153 codes. Any thoughts out there on this matter. Thanks in advance. David.

I am having the exact same trouble, I had the light just after a clutch was put in and my truck has 207, 000 miles. My sensor is on driver side though. P1131, P1132, and a sensor slow to respond code. Don't really understand. 1131, 1132 mean upstream sensor rich/lean. Any advise...
