Land Rover Disco-I, had engine swap, ever since I throw these two codes. 1313 is bank 1, 1314 is bank 2. Truck runs good, but usually when the truck is cold, I get these codes. I clear them, it runs without them for hours. Stop, the truck cools a bit, when i start again, they come back. If I then clear them again, they stay away until the truck cools again. Any ideas?

I replaced the plugs and wires. I have ordered 4 02 sensors, but at a cost of over 100 bucks each, I was putting that off as a last resort.

If it is ignition, what might be the culprit? Injector failure? What symtoms should I look for? The truck runs strong and smooth. Wouldn't bad injectors show up all the time, or just in some instances?

Thanks for the input!

Did you ever find a solution to your problem? My Jaguar X-type is doing the exact same thing and giving the exact same codes.

As jeff says..
Start by cheking the ignition and change the plugs, cables. sparks etc.
After these check fuel pressure.

hey guy's
been working on land rovers for 20 years and the problem you have may be a vac. leak at theintake manifold or in one of the hoses,go to your local parts store and get a couple of brake clean and spray around engine intake and hoses if rpm changes wile doing this you have a leak. Also remember that the land rover V-8 is made of alum.and expands and contracts with heat usally the intake is the culpurit check all vac. hoses espesally at the cruise control servo that hose will break and you will have two problems codes and no cruise control
