I have a malfunctioning brake system. This is my primary mode of transportation and the passenger side front caliper is not releasing. This system is NOT an ABS system. Sticking caliper or proportioning valve? I recently replaced the front pads but I noticed that when I compressed the piston didn't seem to compress evenly. I am looking for a simple solution but I have a tendency to think too deep into the problems I work on. Man, when trouble comes to my house, it stays for a while. And it always happens just before payday. Such is life according to Murphy's Law  Any advice on the brake issue will be extremely appreciated.

Thanks

often the flex hose at caliper develops an internial restriction, acts like a check valve, have someone depress brake then release - open the bleeder the restricted, pressurized fluid would spray out as in bleeding.

seen alot of this when calipers are allowed to hang on flex lines.

Mission complete: Master cylinder was the fix. I found parts economically priced so I replaced the other other caliper, both wheel cylinders, and the master cyclinder all for under $200.00 including pads. I was shocked at the deals I found.

even i have got a problem can anybody give me a solution please-
I am working on a 2000 Suzuki Esteem 1.8L A/T, that will not come out of park. This problem happens intermittantly, but most of the time when the car has been sitting for a while. By a while I don't mean days or weeks, just sitting in the parking lot during work will produce this problem. The brake lights work when you step on the pedal, so I tend not to think this is a brake light switch malfunction. The only thing I can think of is the release to let the trans lever out of park is not functioning correctly, any body else ran into this problem? Also, most cars with A/T trans have a manual release for the trans lever so if such a problem arises you can still drive the car. I can't seem to find the manual release for the gear lever, am I blind or is that a feature that wasn't included with this model? Thanks in advance for any help!!!!
