 Post subject: noisy lifter 1999 kia with 1.8 75,000 miles

hey names bryan (member for three months or so).good sit,well i have a 1999 kia sephia with a 1.8 liter 4cly.it has 75,553 miles just bought two months ago,has bunch of new parts,but besides that here goes,it has a nasty weird tapping niose some what slushy sound.took off valve cover liad rags down and started it up,and cant pin piont noise to sertin vavle but want to no if there was a way to determin if vavle or lilfter,did compression was test good.oil was aways changed.thanks be back tonight
