If it worked fine till retrace your install steps or put the factory set up back on

Like Jeff said if it worked before then you did something. Make sure there are no leaks from the air flow meter to the intake and that the air flow meter is installed correctly.

so i took it to the dealer they did a diagnostic on the car and tried to reset the MAF but it would not work and they said my best bet is to reinstall the original back into the car and then bring it back to them to install it again. Now that was a quick 90$ for them to tell me that. :x when i put the original back in am i going to be able to just plug in and go(will the MAF automatically recognize the original air intake and be good) or will i have to take it to them to reset it for my original?(another 90$ trip) This sucks royally, paid 340 for this nismo part i might end up just returning it to the dealer i got it from for a refund because it does not work lol ughhh

everything was installed correctly 100% sure all the clamps are tight no leaks either. It just annoys the hell out of me because the instructions say how to do everything with pictures i have it exactly how it says and the engine just stalls with everything hooked up but idles at 1000 to 1200 with the MAF sensor disconnected..i dont get it

Once you put everything back orginal it should be ok as long as it back together correctly. There is no reset of the mass air flow it either works or it dont work. With this kit you bought was the mass air flow in the same spot as the orginal or was it moved to another location? Also I'm thinking the piping is larger in diameter also in this kit which both or even one of these would cause a problem with the mass air flow to read correctly because its calibrated and made for a certian spot in the duct and a certain diameter to calulate the air correctly. If you really want this kit you might call who you bought it from and see what they suggest.
