I have been fighting this code for about two years and it is back on again (01, GMC Jimmy, 4.3, 140000 miles). I have replaced all components and some twice. Pump motor runs when I jumped it. Does anyone know when the motor should be running (all the time, Just on start up)? I have also been told that if the engin is miss firing the sensor thinks it is the pump (havn't done a tune-up in a while). Is this True?
