General info for 1997, 2.2 L, ABS/no ABS
Subaru FWD fuse module under the hood....does having a fuse in, engage or disengage FWD, and which wheels, front or rear?

Removing the ABS fuse would remove battery voltage supply to ABS solenoid module.

if you install a fuse (any rating will do as it is just a ground for a solinoid) in the fwd holder it will turn off the hydrolic pressure to thr rear wheels making it a front wheel drive only car
