Hi,

I have this trouble code, C0220, accompanied by check engine light, and my OBD unit says "Description Unknown" next to the trouble code. A search here at this site also turns up no info.

Anyone know what it is?

Thanks,
Patrick

Hmm, thanks Headwrench. But mine starts with a C, not a P. Isn't C for Chassis, and P for Powertrain?

Thanks.

A VW cartridge wouldn't help anyway. You need Volkwagen autogroup software to accurately diagnose VWs. VW/AUDI/SKODA doesn't share much info. The only PIDs you'll get are coolant temp, rpm, things like that. Usually about 4 or 5 pids is all you'll get. You can get VAG-COM software from Ross-tech. It's about 600 bucks for everything, but it's worth every penny if you work on dubs or audis. Long story short, you'll need to take it into a Euro shop or VW.
