I KNOW THAT A P1 CODE IS A MANUFACTURER CODE, BUT I CALLED THE SERVICE DEPT. OF A LOCAL DEALERSHIP & THEY SAY THERE IS NO CODE P1126. MIL LIGHT HAD CAME ON & STAYED ON 2 TIMES. FIRST TIME I RESET BUT MIL CAME BACK ON ABOUT 125 MILES LATER. RETRIVED SAME CODE AGAIN USEING AN INNOVA 3100 OBD2 DEVICE. AM NOT HAVING ANY DRIVABILTY CONCERNS. BAD INFO. FROM DEALER? ANY IDEAS? HELP!

P1126 is saying he engine is not heating up fast enough for closed loop operation. Look at the coolant level if ok then replace your thermostat.
