F code on a 2003 Subaru Outback?

Joined: Thu Aug 21, 2008 8:00 am Posts: 1	Howdy -- my Subaru dealer tells me that my check-engine light was on as a result of code F0519, which they say means that the neutral safety switch was shorted. I've never heard of an F code -- is this real? P1101 seems to be the right code for a neutral safety switch on a 2003 Subaru... Anyone have any ideas? I hate feeling like I've been scammed, especially since two weeks later, the check-engine light is back on...
