I have a 1996 Ford Contour, 4 cylinder DOHC with the following issues. Each of the error codes seems to have a different fix, and I am not sure where to go from here.

• Rough idling
• Sitting several hours in cold weather, all while car is parked not in gear: held gas pedal at 50% - RPM drops from ~5000-6000 down to idle, then engine dies. Took 5+ cranks before it would start again - running dry / no fuel.
• Worse in cold weather. When engine warm, problems almost non-existent
• Fuel pressure WAS 4lbs under min before the pump and regulator were replaced. I do not have a gauge, so I am not sure if that is back up, but the symptoms did not change.

REPLACED:
Fuel pump
Fuel filter
Fuel pressure regulator
Fuel injectors
Air filter
O2 sensors
Spark plugs

TROUBLE CODES:
P0420
Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)
P0302
Cylinder #2 Misfire Detected
P0303
Cylinder #3 Misfire Detected
P0304
Cylinder #4 Misfire Detected
P0171
System Too Lean (Bank 1)

be sure to check your exhaust backpressure, sounds like it could be all related.
