I went to start my car mid day after using it all day with no problems and the car started to spit and sputter to the point that it would only stay going if I had the gas pedel to the floor. i mannaged to get her moving(easy as it is a standard) and get it working bettter. I was thinking that it may of had water in the gas and this is why it was not running right so i put in gas line antifreeze. Now it runs well but it keeps reading P0102. I am wondering what to do next? Everytime i erase the code it comes back.

Is it a cause from the spitting and sputtering earlyer? Is the MAF sensor dirty or is it Faulty? How do i check the MAF sensor using a Voltage/Ohm Meter?

I no i have a lot of questions, but i drive 200km per day for work and dont want to get stuck on the road. Can some one please help me please?

Clean MAF, check wiring and connections, clear code.

If it happens again, disconnect MAF and see how it runs.

If it runs better with the MAF disconnected, replace MAF.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Tryed cleaning the MAF sensor with Brake cleaner with no luck. Bought a used MAF sensor and installed it, Car now works great. Thanks for the Quick response.
