I HAVE A 1996 GMC 1500 AND MY RPM IS JUMPING UP AND DOWN COULD THE CODE P0175 CAUSING THE PROBLM MAF

WHEN I CHANGE THE MAF, MY PROBLEM SHOULD STOP.IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD CHECK TOO.

try cleanning the MAF before replacing it but if you have a K&N style air filter element throw it away! The oil will damge the MAF!

COULD THE MAF CAUSE CRANKING PROBLMS LIKE NOT STARTING RIGHT UP. WHEN IT STARTS UP BLACK SMOKE COMES OUT THE TAIL PIPE.

yes it's possible, so is a tps, fuel pressure problem etc!
