Hello, I recently got this code on my car:

P0140 02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 1 Sensor 2)

I was wondering if someone would be able to point me in the right direction as to what I should be looking at in order to fix the problem. Does this basically mean that the sensor is no longer working? Or it could have faulty wiring etc...

Thanks in advance.

could be either, Hopefullly replacing the )2 will clear it, normally no activity means it's lazy but the circuit(s) are complete! assuming the siganl is getting to the pcm that is. Testting the circuit is always a good idea first! Might just be a blown fuse

good luck and keep us postted

Jeff

We also have P0140 code reports "O2 sensor circuit no activity (bank 1 sensor 2)". Trying to find out if that is the sensor upstream of the catalytic convertor or downstream.
Thanks

Sensor 1 is upstream, sensor 2 is downstream. If you have further questions please start a new topic specific to your issue.
