02 nissan sentra p0300

I have a 02 Nissan Sentra GXE. A few days ago the check engine light came on with the error code P0300. I am also loosing coolant. Doing some research it looks like I need to replace the head gasket. I talked with the dealer and they said fixing the head gasket is expensive. Has anyone faced this problem ?

You mean on a Nissan or just a headgasket repair in general! expense is relative to other repairs in life, most roofs on a house are way more money then most auto repairs

yes that is common in the sentras. usually coolant will leak in the #2 cyl. but it's not any more expensive as other headgaskets. I have done quite a few of those headgaskets.
