Guys,

anyone had experience with this fault code?

Was driving to work this morning, when the engine conked out at the lights. Could'nt get it going again after that.

Called out the RAC who diagnosed a P0257 fault code on the computer....reset the code but the fault came back up again straight away.

He frightened the life out of me by telling me worst case scenario it could cost me £1500 to repair! :-( I only paid £1400 for the car itself!

I've seen offerings on ebay for a "Pump ECU Module" for around £60 and apparantly they are pretty easy to swap over.

Could it be something as simple as this, or am I gonna have to take a loan out to get the car repaired? :-(

any help appreciated.

cheers.

p.s. also got two other codes

P0704
P0370

the RAC guy said these two aren't so serious.
