02 chevy tracker P0455 code

My 02 chevy tracker has the code of P0455. I have checked the gas cap and the code is still reading after i clear it. Also it doesn't want to idle when i start it. It takes awhile to keep it started while giving it gas. Does that mean my catalytic converter may be stopped up also and how do i check for leaks and that. Please help.
