What is an emergency line? Why was the head gasket replaced? truck was overheatting, leaking oil or antifreeze? Was the head replaced, resurfaced, remanufactured or not even inspectted? Were new ignition wires, spark plugs, cap and rotor, ignition coil inspectted or replaced. you say it ran fine previous but we need more info as to why the engine needed repair if it ran fine? Have you returnned to the shop to have it inspectted?

Engine misfiring has been found to be a loose plug wire on cylinder #3-the wire was not fully inserted onto the plug. Started and ran fine for the time i had left in my day. Cleared the codes but now i still have the ABS and emergency lite on. The emergency brake line was replaced due to poor installation before i purchased the truck, which caused the line to leak. The lites were on before it was fixed and they are still on. Vehicle passed inspection. When i wiggle emerg cable under dash, the lite seems to flicker. But is there possibly a sensor that i should be looking for and where would it be located? Also, how do i adjust the timing of my idle. it idles better but seems to idle a little low. Is it an easy adjustment or is it shop needed?

Okay firstly there is no emergency brake fluid line! You need to grasp how emergency brakes work! They are cables that apply the rear brake shoes to hold the wheels from turning. Proper terminology helps us all. If you can wiggle the e brake lever under the dash and duplicate the light flickering then you have a problem with the cables / adjusttment or maybe the switch adjusttment itself. this will turn the abs light on, as will low fluid in the master cylinder resevoir. Secondly your idle is not adjustable on 99% of fuel injectted cars. If it doesn't idle right then there's something wrong like a vaccum leak, incorrect timing, misfires, plugged exhaust, failled sensor. Again who found the plug wire, you or the repair centre? Did you mention to them the idle issue? Again why was the headgasket replaced. You post questions that we nned to post questions too? We need info not addt'l questions! Abs codes require a scanner to read!
