P0101 OBD Code on a 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. Check Engine light came on while I was hauling a fifth wheel at 60 mph on a straight away. Stayed on during the 3 hour trip, the next day it didn't come on at all.

P0101 Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Range/Performance Problem

I would not worry about it.

IMHO it could happens because some did not add up.

Lets say, you floored the engine and the RPMs, Throttle, Vacuum, Vehicle Speed, etc... did not match the Air Mass coming in the engine.

Did you where exceeding the weight limits of the vehicle? Altitude perhaps? Excess Outside Temperature (too hot creates a low pressure density, therefore mimics a higher altitude)?
