Hi everybody,
I just had the 2 o2 sensors before the catalytic converter (bank 1 sensors 1 and 2) in my car replaced, along with the EGR valve. However, 2 new codes came up now that the o2 sensors and EGR valve have been replaced. The new codes are:

P1155 - Air/Fuel sensor heater circuit (bank 1 sensor 2)

P1135 - Air/Fuel sensor heater circuit response (bank 1 sensor 1)

My mechanic told me he has no idea what this means. Probably a small wire chewed up somewhere. Auto zone also told me they have no idea what this means either. I'm hoping to get some insight as to what it might be, before I take it to the Toyota dealership and get my wallet flattened.

The reason this concerns me is because anytime the check engine light is on in this car, the traction control turns off too. I like my traction control :o

Is anyone familiar with these codes?

Thanks!!
Jamie

Air/fuel sensors and O2 sensors are not the same. Sounds like the incorrect parts were installed. Where did the parts come from? There is no way to tell the two sensors apart. You can get the part numbers off the old sensors and have a parts house cross the numbers or the best thing to do is go to the dealer and buy the correct ones.
