1996 explorer with 142K miles, have error code P0141 02 heater circuit, bank 1 sensor 2. It appears that an O2 sensor is bad. How do I know which one is causing this code and how do I validate that it is either bad or a has a bad wire??

Bank 1 is the side with the number 1 cylinder (right side) and 2 means the o2 after the converter. If you have a volt meter you can ohm out the heater and see if its open. 9 times out of 10 it's a bad sensor.
