 Post subject: 2001 Acura Integra GSR with the P0300 code

The whole motor was rebuild recenting but its having a little trouble. it starts right up but when i put it in first gear and then press on the gas and try to drive it. it would go a little but it hestitate then the motor turns off. what could it be!?!?

i did a Diagnostic Trouble Codes check on my car and this is what pulled up.
P0300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0301 Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected
P0302 Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected
P0303 Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected
P0304 Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected

any suggested on what i should do first..?

Did you Reved the engine in neutral and dies too?

You said that was rebuild, did you placed a rag in the exhaust to cover the hole? If not, maybe a critter got inside :lol: Do not forget to check the intake too.

See if the exhaust is not plugged. Crank the engine or tell someone to stand behind while you Rev the engine. It should be easy, pull the exhaust and check. If that is not the case, could be some about timing and other things.
