You will have to check fuel pressure,
fuel injectors,#2 could be bad
Compression of cylinders,
timing check,
cylinder leak down test to check valves.

This car is getting to me. I change the fuel injector and still #2 cylinder is not firing and the idle is missing like crazy. The engine will run and start up but something is deffinitely wrong. I put a new timming belt , crank sensor, I'm about to take of the head and see what's under it. can someone give me a solution. 2000 Mitsubishi twin cam 2.4 four cylinder.
