I didn't find any threads pertaining to P0341. I just got done doing timing belt and timing belt tensioner replacement on 1997 VW Jetta GL 2.0 Liter Gas Engine. I believe if Timing Belt snaps due to diffective tensioner you will get a P0341 Code and engine will not start because cam shaft is no longer rotating, and distributer is not turning as well. Other sites had different simptoms with P0341 code but did not mention this possibility.
