Hello all,

I have been having rough ildes in the past on my '02 Silverado (5.3l) when it is cold in the morning but runs great when it warms up and in the summer. It spit several of these codes (P0300, 0171/0174) last winter and I finally got around to replacing the intake gasket (as all the help and information on here and elsewhere led me to believe this was the problem, so thanks for that help!) this past weekend.

The rough idle went away and the motor seems to be running normal. But the CEL remains. I read the codes yesterday and I think two new ones appeared (P0106, 0107), atleast I dont remember them from last winter. I cleared the codes but the light came back on immediately, even in the mild 40 degree weather.

So, my question is, what might be the culprit of setting these codes off if I just replaced the intake gasket? Air leaking somewhere else? Should I run my truck for a few more days and see if it rights itself? Would new plugs/wires address the misfiring, or is that an effect of running to lean? I'm not sure when the plugs/wires were last replaced, I only got the truck about 18 months ago.

Thanks for any input.

Eric
