Hi;

Since I bought my 2003 4.0 Jeep Wrangler sport I had the P0031 and the P0132 on my OBD.
I’ve been advised to replace the HO2S Heater Control Circuit Low (Bank 1 Sensor 1) and the P0132 02 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank I Sensor 1).

I did change the two sensors but the check Engine is still there with the same codes. It even got worst the car is now consuming double the amount of fuel than it use to consume and does not give the same power. I feel like I am driving a heavy truck!!!!

Please help and advice.
ThanX

You said you replaced both sensors,your codes are for the same sensor (bank1 sensor1 )Next what kind of sensors did you use?OEM or after market.The sensors they sell at autozone,advance,etc have been known not to work properly,also did you inspect your 02 sensor wiring and connector for corrosion or abrasion.

Both codes are for the same sensor..You need to check the wiring and see if it is rubbing somewhere sounds like the signal wire maybe shorted to the heater circuit.
