2004 Hyundai Accent, 4cyl, 90K mi

Check engine light came on back in December 07. Went to Autozone & dont remember the code but it didn't make sense, said my car was a Mazda and they said take it for a full diagnostic. My battery died shortly after, replaced, light went off (Im assuming now since it reset the computer). Month or 2 later it came back on & I did nothing. Now my car is way pass due for inspection in Texas.

Went back 2 autozone yesterday, code was P2407 EVAP leak detection pump sense circuit intermittent. Saying it was a Mazda again. Took it to a shop for full diagnostic, didnt get the codes or remember explanation exactly but said it was something to do with emissions and plug misfiring ($200 tune up would take care of that apparently). The other code (emission) was going to be $800-1000 for the part alone. So instead, he cleared the light & Im waiting to take it in to an inspection place and see if it will pass. I know car computer has to complete cycle, but not sure how long I should wait. (Drove at least 30 miles highway, 20 min stop & go, 6-8 times turning off & on, & 5-10 min idle and no light yet). What do you think? Any help would be appreciative!

Thanks,
Rob
