 Post subject: po171, p0174 on 98 mazda b4000

i took it to the garage and they replaced the mass airflow sensors and the fuel filter any suggestions on what could be causing the problem. also the engine hesitates on acceleration and has a rough idle

You have a air leak somewhere this 4.0 is the same as a Ford 4.0. The most common is the PCV hose.

Upper intake gasket vacuum leaks are very common.
