You may have to remove the PCM and the bracket it mounts to and be sure to disconnect the battery first, but I have seen that the PCM harness sometimes will rub on that bracket and also around the A/C accumulator if they are rubbed through then just seperate and seal real good with some electrical tape.

no no no don't change the pcm the wires that go to the pcm sometimes will rub on the bracket. Only remove the PCM and bracket to have better access to the harness to look for bare wires.

you need to check and make sure you are getting power and ground the signal to the injectors and coils on the affected cylinders. If it was the gas filter then all cylinders would be misfiring and if it was a convertor the all the cylinders on bank 1 would be misfiring. I dont see any numbers from a compression test did you do one? These engines have been known to break valve springs and also wiring problems like it said earlier.
