its a 2005 dodge neon throwing the p0304 code what happens is the when i start the car the engine light come on and will not let me go above 2000rpms it shakes the car or jerks you back and forth but if i turn the car off and start it again it will drive fine and the light will go off after 3 or 4 starts
i am not sure where to go with this some help would be nice....

Replace the plugs and wires..How many miles? Dodge recc. plugs at 30k and plugs and wires at 60k.

I would start with plugs and wires. Be sure to use quality parts. No Auto Zone stuff

Never changed a map sensor yet on any neon that cured a misifre code! The plugs are likely shot and the wires as well! If you remove the plugs you'll probably see a carbon track on the ceramic of the plug where it's been arcing through the side of the plug to ground instead of through the centre electrode. If you have these carbon tracks then you'll nned both new plugs and wires because if the new plugs go in with the old wires you''ll get the carbon tracking again!
