 Post subject: p0301 code for Chevy Caviler

I could really need come help!!! My car is due to be smoged & cannt get it done until i get the dumb check engine light off..
The code says p301, so I changed the plugs & wires & still getting the code. what else can i try? thanks for all you help!!

Well, cylinder 1 is misfiring. Find out if the fuel injector is pulsing and if the coil is operating properly.
