I have a 99 suburban giving a p0102 code. I have a K&N filter on it. It is a "Mass Air Flow (MAF) Circuit Low Input" which seems to be a sensor problem. Is it caused by the K&N filter? How do I fix the issue?

More than lilkely your K&N filter is letting too much air into the system. MAF is detecting it. To avoid that replace old part and erase code.

More than likely the MAF got dirty from the oil in the K&N filter.

Clean the MAF with Brake Kleen or electronics cleaner, install a paper filter and clear the code.
