Hi, i have a Ford Windstar 2000 with a 3.8 engine, i got the code p0161, so i change the oxygen sensor on the side of the driver the one after the catalyst, but the code came back right away, is there something else i have to do, is there a fuse i need to check?

Thanks for your help :D

If the sensor did not correct concern, then it is a fault in the circuit. Power, ground, or control. Time for a flow chart and a DVOM.

I have just begun to dive into the specifics of error code P0161, which is the O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction (Bank 2, Sensor 2). All of my research has led me to believe that Bank 2 designates the passenger side and Sensor 2 designates the sensor after the cat. You may have replaced the incorrect sensor.
