no vacume leaks found. all four plugs on the left bank were oil soaked. compression a little lower on number five then other cyls. but right bank including num five plug look normal.

Could be that your engine was not anymore in optimal mechanical conditions,. and as a result when you were pulling the big weigh, the engine was sensitive of the heavy stuff resulting in a big effort and a lot of compression needed on the cylnders. Then the oil passed into the cylinders..
You may have to check the condition and life of your engine, maybe you gonna need an engine overhaulin..

how much is a little lower? Im betting the intake gaskets are sucking oil and the seals around the plug wells are leaking
