Ok, Been working on my car for a while

New INjections, New plugs, New Wires, TESTED Fuel Return Line Back to tank no pinches/clogs. New Regulator, (2nd Regulator the first one blew out already) and the 2nd regulator has popped its diaphram.

Car Is rough @ Idle, WIth the regulator blown it was sucking gas up into the intake which makes it flood but i know this problem

Anyway, rough @ idle, fine above ~1000-1300 RPM. I can do 70mph no problem, but idle is insanely rough and I dont get engine codes while doing 30-70mph. I get at idle.

If I reset the computer, the car runs better for a lil bit until it seems to relearn that it is rich and returns to normal within normally an hour. (normal being rough idle)

I have questions, Can the PCM cause the pump to run too high? Can the pump be putting out too much pressure? (i already replaced the injectors cuz they were all leaking and the problem occured after since they were no longer the pressure relief) What about the Fuel Pressure/Vent Sensor.

Im pretty sure I have high fuel pressure (popped injectors 2 blown regulators) and am trying to track if its PCM/Fuel Pump or what not.

As jeff says, you have high pressure in the fuel system. If you noticed these before, why didn´t you changed first the fuel pump instead of the injectors and 2 fuel pressure regulators??

Check the fuel pump pressure,, I´m pretty sure you will need to change that fuel pump for a new one, and then after that, you will resolve the missfire codes and the rich code.

OK 2 questions, can the fuel pump be tested outside the vehicle at all, (we traced the return line as the GM diagnostic sheet said, funny thing is that the fuel pump is not listed as a cause for high fuel pressure anywhere on GM infosheet for the error codes.

I am awaiting my tester, a family member has a fuel pressure gauge they just shipped me for testing this. Can the vacuum system be at fault and not opening the regulator causing too much pressure to build?

I also read on Clubcav.com That my autozone purchased injectors a few people have had trouble that they were meant for 2.4l and not the 2.2 (autozone f*ck up)

ON top of that some of these have had the same problems and some have been coils or ignition module, and the pcm is making up for the issue and not regulating properly, some have bosch o2 sensors (which unfortunately i think i installed about 2 years ago). Some of the problems have been bad injector drivers in the PCM causing them not to drop fuel properly, and the car thinks its lean and adds more gas and the regulator is basically turned off (building too much pressure and blam)

The reason im questioning the fuel pump is that ive heard of them losing pressure but never slowly adding pressure, just seems unusual functionality for a pump but i guess its possible. But i will have my pressure tester shortly :D

autozone f*ck up? really  never heard of such a thing  I doubt the pump alone is creating excess pressure but without a gauge reading and some proper diagnosis you're just grab assing at it. Alot of previous parts and repairs need to be checked as well as the basics like vaccum to the regulator and proper regulator opening. Where the new regs from the zone as well? Are the plugs coming out wet?
