What are the three sensors or whatever that can bring upthe code po404 for grv valve in general motors cars replaced the valve and the code still coming up what else should i check. the car is a 2001 olds alero V6 checked throttle sensor map sensor. It runs fine at idle but when i kick it down to get on the highway its like wide open and makes it sound like the trans is slipping had it checked ok. and the only code is PO404 egr valve

Its a 3.4 V6 and i replace the ERG valve and still get code PO404. car runs fine idle and low speeds when i kick it down just sounds like the trans is slipping could it be the crankshaft position sensor.

no it couldn't be! it could still be a plugged port though or a circuit problem or it needs a scan tool to reset the egr pintle position
