I recently found the error code P0132 when my check engine light came on in my Neon. I searched online for the meaning on the code, and it's referring to high voltage to the Oxygen Sensor on Bank 1. So...I might have made the mistake of purchasing a universal O2 sensor and put that in. I had to splice the wires on the new sensor, as well as the old sensor, because the end connector wasn't a part of the new one.
Would that cause a short in the new sensor? I do recall having to get my fuel injectors replaced a year after purchasing this car. Thank God I had a warranty to cover for that. I didn't know if that could play a role in this problem. SHould I just go purchase the orgianl O2 sensor to see what that'll do? If there's anybody out there that can help me out, I'd appreciate the help. I can be reached at
