Okay, sorry, probably a really stupid question...my MIL was on again, so I finally bought the code reader. It came up as P0440 (which I was familiar with),and erased it. Now, I've noticed my gas mileage has decreased (a lot). If there was a problem (other than my gas cap), would the light come back on?? Is the code & the gas mileage likely related, or not?
