 Post subject: will code p0430 reset after repairs

have a 97 gmc sierra 4x4 with 295,000 miles got the dreaded check engine light now 2 weeks before having to get emmissions done. have code po430 for low cat efficiency bank 2 decided to replace the whole cat pipe unit and all 4 o2 sensors. how long will it take for the code to reset by itself or will it?
