Hey all,
I have been having check engine light issues with my truck for a year or so now. Each time it has been code P0133. My mechanic read the code and cleaned one of the O2 sensors off with carb cleaner; that fixed the issue for about 6 or 7 months. Then just recently it became an issue again.
My question is this: this code says O2 sensor Bank 1, Sensor 1 slow to respond. Which O2 sensor is Bank 1, Sensor 1 on a Mazda B4000? The problem is that all the manuals I find for my Mazda truck are based on the Ford Ranger. They are practically identical (they're built in the same damn plant

) , but I have heard that Mazda does some funky stuff to their trucks. For instance, one rumor I heard is that Bank 1 on a Ford Ranger is opposite of Bank 1 on a Mazda B4000. Is this true? Does anyone know which sensor it is? I do see one on the passenger side and on the driver side, I want to know which to replace/clean since they are kind of hard to get to.
Thanks everyone for your help.
