This code came up after I fixed a recurrent P0302. To fix the P0302 I replaced the injector on the #2 cylinder, after checking spark plug, wires replacing coil pack, and compression testing 2,4, and 6 cyinders. Instead of removing the air box and the plenum, I just moved them out of the way. When I put them back in place I found the air intake sensor had popped out of the airbox. I thought nothing of it and put it back in. After the P0441 code, I thought I had better look at it. When I did I broke it. That caused a P0113 code, and the P0441 went away. I have since replaced the air intake sensor, and now have the P0441 back again. I am running out of time to get this thing past emissions. HELP!

I guess that is what I have to check next. I don't recall any being bad when I put it back together. From what I have been reading, on ALLDATA, and in Mitchell, the system is unable to maintain pressure. So I thought I would have to check the lines. The logical place to start is where l last made changes, and that is under the hood. I'm hoping I left a line off, or one is cracked or damaged. I can understand I may have caused this when replacing the injector, what I don't understand is why it was replaced, with the P0113 when I damaged the air intake sensor, rather than as an additional code. I did reset the codes after replacing the sensor., but I did not prior to replacing it. Currently there is a stored P0441, but no MIL. Does the PCM record only one code per related incident? Also which may be of importance, this motor transaxle combination came out of a 96 grand prix. Are there differences between them where the EVAP system is concerned.? I left the motor and bolts ons intact. What I had to change was the alternator, and the fuel rails with injectors, which I left attached to the original vehicle.
