2003 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7Hemi P0340 & P0344 codes
I'm getting 2 codes for my truck P0340, P0344 On every thing I have read its telling me its a Cam Shaft Position Sensor problem (P0340) It also came up as (intermitton) also it came up on freeze frame it said (fuel system 1 open loop)I am reading it may be dirty what would you do? Are there any other sensors that are related to this that I should change at the same time?
Can anyone shed any lite on this problem or sugestions woul be great.

unless there's a software flash it's probably the cam or crank sensor!

On the top of my OBD II Unit there was 3 flashing circles- CAT, EVA and O2S. And 3 solid circles- MIS, FUE and CCM. What does all this mean. Thanks for your help.

Comps referring to your monitors (catalyst, EVAP, and O2) are incomplete, usually from recent code clearing event.

HI ¡

Why don´t first you try to change the CAM sensor... and check the wiring harness in the CAM... These could resolve the problem ¡
