 Post subject: 1998 Cadillac Eldorado P0121 Code

I had a couple of P0121 codes on my Eldorado, and when it occurred it would go to a very fast idle. I turned the engine off and restarted and the code and fast idle cleared. This hasn't occurred for quite a while. What could have caused this code, and is it a cause for concern?

It's a tps fault and yes it's cause for concern! the check engine light being on always is!
